590A1 Cartridge stop magnetic?

So, just noticed that my cartridge stop and cartridge interruptor are both slightly magnetic. What's up with that, yo? I can lay one on the desk and use the other to pull it around, while my sewing needle is stuck to it as well.

Google and forum searching seems to not find anything, unless this is one of those weird things that nobody talks about because everyone knows about it.

Never checked, never bothered me. I clean, I function check, I safety check and then she goes into the safe until the next range session.

I'm not metallurgist but the part probably has a high carbon content and got magnetized during production?

maybe its an uber cool built in built in compass feature that only the mall ninjas know about.
