597 30-Round Mag Issue

Does anyone else have a problem with the 30-round magazines for the Remington 597 with the last shot hold open not working? I have 2 of them and neither one of them works for hold open. The factory 10-round that came with the rifle works just fine... If anyone else has/had this issue, were you able to fix it and how?

Had the same problem with both my new 30 rounders, the fix is if you look on the side of the mag there is a small plastic tab that should activate the hold open, gently bend the tab out about 1-2 mm that should sort it
