597 Yellow Jacket

I think it looks ok. A bit extreme in the function over beauty, but should be a nice rig. The stock is made by Boyd's, they sell them unfinished for 93.75USD, just gotta do a bit of fitting and sanding, then add some Tru-Oil and you are good to go. I would not mind that stock in pepper laminate...

I think it is pretty cool looking, not a huge fan of the color. I prefer the blue/grey lam stocks and one day hope to get one for my 597 stainless. If you like the looks and have the cash go for it! I love my Remi, make sure you get at least a couple of 30 shot clips for it they are FUN!!

It would've been better without the skeleton look, I saw a nice one, it's
almost like that at the shotshow made by magnum research with 1022
receiver with thick target barrel, Inodized colour, the yellow stock like
thumbhole but no skeleton look. The guy at the booth said that they
built better 1022 receiver than ruger .... Now the gun is available at about
400 USD at some gunshow in Texas.

599.99 actually... Which is quite a bit as the regular heavy barrel model is 339 and the stock from Boyd's bumps that up to 455, not quite sure what the extra 154.99 gets you...
 
Im going with the fugly. Doesnt peel my banana at all but it does get points for being ambidextrous. Nice to see that. My humble $0.02 and sticking with my 1022 and 39a.
