I used to own one and the friend who bought it from me a few years back still own and enjoy the rifle. I've always thought the R5 to be a very solid .75MOA rifle ( some will do better ) which given that it is a stock factory offering is really quite excellent. I also endorse the R5 purchase because it is so easy to upgrade bit by bit as the owner desires. Overall a great buy.

Timney trigger set at 1lb 10oz

shooting 175gr SMK in Lapua Brass with Varget powder and CCI BR2 primers loaded at 2.89" COAL to fit mag

I don't think there is...

...200 yards with a $537.00 Remington SPS Varmint (bedded into a Remington VLS stock mind you)...kinda makes some big dollar rifles blush a little! LOL!
