Hey guys-did a quick look around, but figure I'd lean on you 10/22 fans for a quick answer. I sourced a factory dovetail rail for the 10/22 receiver, but now require the 6-48 screws. Best source in Canada? They would need to be the button/pan-head variety, not the flat-head/CS type

thanks!

I have a set if factory screed you can have, I switched to a set of Talleys last month.

You'll just have to clean off the Purple Loctite

I can drop them into the mail if you want.

It's probably cheaper and easier to just go to a local gun shop. I'd bet they have a drawer full of them and they'll give you a few. Worst case, you might have to shorten them a bit, but that's super easy to do.

Not sure how thats cheaper than a single stamp to mail them .?

I think "button head" translates to "Fillister Head"... the other common 6x48 is Weaver Style Head. Both of these are available in slotted, Allan and Torx. I think Torx is the best option today.

I sent you a email with specs of the factory ruger screws for the old dovetail rail.

Factory ones are machined to be flush and fit perfect in the hole. The common weaver oval and fillister are much smaller. Weaver oval did hold the rail better than the fillister that also protruded out.

Thanks OKS-got the email!
