Should I be looking for a LA or a SA rem 700 to build a 6.5-284 on?

If you want to take advantage of the great bullets that are out there you will need a long action otherwise you will have to deep seat them.

I would prefer one of the intermediate length actions, or the longer SA's (Ruger and Winchester) in terms of COL, but realistically, if you want to get the most out of it, go with BigBull's suggestion and get a LA Rem 700. - dan

thanks guys. That is what I thought but I wanted to confirm before I ordered the sps tomorrow that will give up its action.
