I heard on another forum that the Vanguard will be chambered in 6.5-300. Can anyone confirm this?

OOOOOh.... I like it. So if a guy didn't shoot it rapidly and always kept the barrel cool(ish), could you get 1000 rounds of warm hunting ammo before a re-barrel? I figure 1000 rounds would be enough to find a couple loads and hunt yotes and other things really far away for a long time. I have other guns for heating up in a gravel pit.
Most barrels are ruined by the SHOOTER - By shooting to many rounds in a row- overheating the barrel and burning up the throat - Then theres improper cleaning methods !
I agree with unstable RYAN lol should be good for 1000 rounds or so if looked after ! jmo RJ
