JC Custom Barrels. I have shot and shot out Kreiger, Bartlein, Obermeyer and MacClennen barrels. All shot well and all went south around the same number of rounds (around 4500-5000) in a .308.

In your 308 barrels did you see a difference in the barrel life from shooting target rifle and ftr?

No experience with HWP and JC, was always using Kreiger and Bartlein and never been disappointed. If we are talking $50-100 cost , then will not hesitate to try, Unfortunately its $1000- barrel / labor we are looking at.
, not saying those barrels are not good, just can’t afford risking especially I have no experience with those brand.

In your 308 barrels did you see a difference in the barrel life from shooting target rifle and ftr?

I am still just shooting target rifle. I have not received my membership card from the CNIB and my shoulder has healed just enough that I can almost struggle into a prone position with a jacket and sling.
