6.5 barreled action suggestions.

Hi!

I want an MDT chassis and I also want a 6.5 creedmore. I know the big one is rem 700 but I’ve heard rumors of reduced quality and I’m wondering if anyone can give an opinion on a barelled action option that will fit an mdt chassis.. I have a savage 10 and really like it but I don’t want a heavy barrel and I can’t find barelled actions online.

Hoping someone can suggest something on the medium to light end of things.

Wolverine has 24 in med heavy barrelled Rem. Actions and I have one in Creed very tight and square actions that shoot .5 in groups and under after break in with factory ammo it likes!

If you have a Savage and like the action, you can order prefits in pretty much any configuration you can dream up. Improve the accuracy and get the set up exactly as you want.

Pretty much every popular action has chassis available so you really don't need to stay with Rem 700 if you dont want to.

I have heard rumors of bugara selling barreled action this year. They are a 700 footprint and shoot very well from factory. Give Ken a call at Bullseye London, he should be able to fill in the details.
