This was shoot accross the lake at my hunting place very far up LaTuque, after supper lake is like a mirror, no wind, perfect condition, my son went with the Zodiac and pin the can to a birch tree, prone position 10 shoots in 10 minutes... 10 shot in the CAN, the range finder gave me 810 yards the group in is larger if you mesure from#7 to #3 is 6.25 inch, i know how to shoot but this rifle shoot a lot better than me, great triplet caliber... Icon... Sightron.... Cheers. JP.

I have been eye balling that exact gun and caliber since it came out. Great looking gun and it looks like a shooter. Time to buy one and convince my wife I have had it for years.

Any issues finding rounds?

3 months ago i did not know much about 6.5 caliber, i am finding myself to leave my 308 in the safe, i think i did not even discover how accurate i the 6.5 Creed. and the Icon P. H. are, and what about my Sightron, fantastic scope it put a smile on my face everytime i use them... Cheers. JP.

If you dont reload or you need your first brass, you order them tru a dealer like Frontier or SFCR you have to asked for a special order, i was lucky, i bought the rifle and 7 boxes of Superformance 6.5 Creedmoor 129 gr SST in a Montreal gunstore... Cheers. JP.

The Icon is topped by a Sightron Big Sky 11 36X recommended by Jerry from Mystic Precicion a dealer up here ( very competent and easy businness ), at the beginning did not know the product, everyones was going of there recomendations, i knew S&B and Trijicon but i was looking for a very long shooting scope, i will go back shooping for another Sightron as my long awaited Nemesis 308 is around the corner. Sightron is a quality product and price wise they are VERY competitive... Cheers. JP.

It took 12 shoots before i could zero good since i was shooting on the lake, i could see were it was hitting adjusting the height moa between every shoot, the first shot that hit the can is # 3, final adustment and i was in, still had adjustment left on the scope but not more than 1 or 2 moa, after that i did not touch the adjustments and when i was back at the range i shot at a 100 metres, did put a one inch dot in the bottom of my 24X24 target, i shot 3 bullets and there was 19.5 inch difference, so i think the Sightron could take me to a 1000 metres... Cheers. JP.

Like i said this is a good way to shut up a crowd, mores pictures are coming... Cheers. JP.

Shooting is very important to me, i just assume everybody should be happy when one can succeed once in a while, if one of you gentleman tell me a fact or a good move you made, what right do i have to doubt your word, i am happy to have found such a good fraternity, a member send me an email telling me that there was a tread that was putting me down, i did not know before and i would be dishonest saying that it did not affect me... I have been shooting for 50 years but been on a computer not even a year, it take time to be fast on it... Cheers. JP.

I think that is some awesome shooting! If there are doubters, it's probably because they are not able to achieve those hits at that range themselves. Don't stop sharing your success and lessons learned because someone else is to childish to PM you and ask for more details, but would rather run you down behind your back.

Cheers!
