6.5 creedmoor loads

What are your objectives? What is the length of your barrel? What components are you going to be working with?

There's literally hundreds of combinations here.

A deer load I just settled on is 40.0 grains VV N140, Prime/RUAG brass, CCI 250 magnum primers (because I have no regular LRP left), and 123 scenars. This gets about ~2800 fps or so out of my 18" benchmark barrel.

I settled on that top load because: 1. I had all the components. 2. Went to lighter projectile to get faster velocities out of a short barrel.

If you can provide more info/context, people will actually be able to provide more guidance.

There's also a huge thread on snipershide in the reloading section, of recipes that people have settled on with a plethora of different components. You can check there for some ideas of what's working for people.

My 6.5 CM dotes on 41.5 grains of IMR 4451 and the 142 Long range Accubond.
Did not graph it yet, but it is averaging close to ½ moa right out to 400 Meters.
Start 1.5 grains lower and work up, please. Dave.

But please , everyone has their own preferences, and that's great to see here. With little information available to me it's great to see folks post load data.

H4350 in the 42gr+ with a 130 Gamechanger. It simply works. fast, accurate, flat shooting, and wicked wound channels. Two deer this year (230 and 404yds) hit in the crease were complete pass thru with golf ball sized exit.
