Hey guys I'm looking at getting into the long range game. I've decided I want to buy a bolt action in 6.5 creedmoor. I don't reload yet but I plan to in the future. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding reviews on rifles. I am thinking about the ruger percision rifle but I would like to see all my options. Let me know what you think.

Scroll down a few threads, there is currently a thread going concerning the Ruger Precision rifle.
I'm a Ruger lover but it wouldn't be my choice, also it all depends on your budget.

Tomorrow I will be shooting a friends savage heavy barrel (predator version maybe?) I am a big savage fan. Hopefully it doesn't let me down. Will update tomorrow.

What is the budget?

What standard of accuracy are you after?

What is the rifle primarily going to be used for and what role does it need to fulfill (bench, F/TR, positional shooting, occasional hunting, run & gun, PR comps, ect)?

Under $2000, looking for sub moa and planning on shooting for fun but up to 1000 yards.

My brother has the 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor. We found one local but EPPS had a couple at the time. Really nice shooter. First box of 20 shells and he hit 1050 yards with some experienced guidance.

For the OP, if I remember correctly, Ramakos carries Savage Rifles. They won't likely have that one in stock, but I'm sure that they could order one for you.
