6.5 creedmoor rifle choices

Hey guys I'm looking at getting into the long range game. I've decided I want to buy a bolt action in 6.5 creedmoor. I don't reload yet but I plan to in the future. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding reviews on rifles. I am thinking about the ruger percision rifle but I would like to see all my options. Let me know what you think.

I'm a Ruger lover but it wouldn't be my choice, also it all depends on your budget.

Tomorrow I will be shooting a friends savage heavy barrel (predator version maybe?) I am a big savage fan. Hopefully it doesn't let me down. Will update tomorrow.

Under $2000, looking for sub moa and planning on shooting for fun but up to 1000 yards.

Under $2000 including glass or plus glass? A reasonable scope for that will suit your needs will run you $1500ish.

This. My cousin had one and it was awesome! Heavy as hell, but very accurate, and nothing for recoil.

$2000 for just rifle? If so I would build one off of a savage short action. That's what I did. Got everything I needed off the EE.

Any time you see a LRP on a Savage it's a very heavy, VERY accurate rifle. The single shot LRPV is possibly the most accurate factory rifle dollar for dollar ever..........yah I said it!

My brother has the 12 LRP in 6.5 Creedmoor. We found one local but EPPS had a couple at the time. Really nice shooter. First box of 20 shells and he hit 1050 yards with some experienced guidance.

For the OP, if I remember correctly, Ramakos carries Savage Rifles. They won't likely have that one in stock, but I'm sure that they could order one for you.

I'm going to go there this week and take a look at a few rifles. I think I'm between the savage LRP and the ruger percision rifle

Don't forget about the tikka...!!! but then you'd have to go to .260....

I have a Creedmoor in a Weatherby. Absolutely love the rifle, and it dusts 'yotes like you wouldn't believe.
