6.5 mm PPU Projectiles - Cant find them anywhere...

Meroh, I don't know where they can be found but I do not have good experience with the 139 grain in 6.5x55. Last year I shot a deer, the bullet exploded on a broad side shot, the deer subsequently died but there was no penetration at all. I would not use them again on deer. PPU brass is excellent though.

Biggest game I hunt is ground-hog; I bought some 120 gr and really liked them; should have bought them all. LOL.

I scored some sierra 120 gr. matchkings yesterday, I have 300 coming; should do me for next year. 40 years ago, these were my go-to bullets.

Out of all the calibers it seems the 6.5mm is the lowest stock levels across the country. I guess all the 6.5 fanfare in the shooting world lately has it at peak popularity.

Its starting to get better; I have been able to find Hornady bullets to get me through this summer, and finally, those sierras!
