6.5 PRC lead bullets

Hi, recently bought a 6.5 PRC rifle for hunting. I’m considering getting into reloading. My father did A LOT of reloading and I have all his equipment. The only thing I know about it is from helping him when I was around 12 years old. Question for you fine folks: Can I use lead bullets in the 6.5 PRC? It has a Proof Research carbon barrel (not sure if that matters). My dads lead moulds are for 303 and I recall him with endless bags of lead 303 rounds each range trip.
