6.5 Rem Mag

Having trouble reloading these cases 6.5 rem mag not sure how old they are .I have no problem with fired once brass .but older ones are very tight and leave a
ridge at the bottom where the Die stops .When I start the case measures
515 after resize 505 .Never ran in to this problem on other Belted cases .

muckle are these actual 6.5's or are you resizing say 7mm to 6.5?
The original 6.5 Rem brass that I have no trouble to resize but to try and make from 7mm Mag is really really hard to do. I have had very poor luck and yes there is the ridge where the die stops on mine also. With the change of taper and the amount of brass that has to be pushed back is to much.
I tried different lube and pure lanolin worked the best but still a tough one to resize.

Was told to try 350 Rem Mag Brass but haven't yet.

Yes I think I need to get the collet Die for Mag cases .I cut one case up it looks good inside no bumps or ridges .I think just from reloading over time it's hard to get it back in shape.The belt I think does not help as the brass is pushed down the case piles up behind the belt causing this problem .
