Thinking about building a compact bolt gun (13"-15" barrel) in one of the .223 based wildcats for a coyote/deer gun. Not because it's super practical, but just because I like odd ball guns. I've got a MDT TAC-21 chassis that needs to be used for something, and I'm leaning towards 6.5 TCU, but don't know anybody who's ever had one......anyone here?

These used to be used in silhouette years ago with light bullets and they were a very accurate cartridge. they were accurate but not fast. not sure i would want to deer hunt with one.

I don't think deer would be an issue for it inside of 200yds. Guys are folding plenty of deer/coyotes/pigs with .300 whisper/blackout and I think 6.5 TCU would have an edge on that cartridge. I have plenty of "conventional" guns already.
