just wondering what people are using as a COAL or if you have any decent loads to start out with for 6.5x47 Lapua? I'll be shooting 140 grains I think, I have some 120s too though

Measure the jump is for each projectile is about the only way to know. Everyone's situation is going to be different in that case.

Longboat's right - something you need to measure yourself.

I used this method to find the lands on my 6.5x47: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWmIwPwLyyg

Works very well. I used to use the Hornady OAL gauge, but have since shelved it since using the Wheeler method above.

As a reference only: My buddy and I both shoot 140s out of our 6.5x47s. I can't give you OAL, but my CBTO is 2.104" using Berger 140gr VLDs, and his is 2.124" using 140gr Hornady ELD-M.. both are set for 1 thou jump to the lands. Should give you a close reference point to check against your measurements on your chamber.
