Can you post pictures or descriptions? It is pretty easy to identify......if you give a bit of information.

Here is a few pic of the ammo,

Top ammo is hunting ammo, bottom is military surplus. I imagine the 939 and 937 meaning 1939 and 1937 respectively. Very nice, personally the Carcano is one of my favourite milsurp designs, simple, relatively accurate (if your feeding it good ammo), reliable, and absolutely no kick.

Thanks for your help Eaglelord17, i bought a lot of ammo and it was in the lot. I think this ammo is good for a collector, not for shooting.
Thanks again.

All the headstamps you show are military, as well as all the rounds with round-nose cupro-nickel bullets. All the soft-point copper-jacket bullets are reloaded.

As a collector, I know I wouldn't mind a clip (6rds) or more of original 6.5x52, definitely don't shoot the original military ammo as it is getting harder and harder to find. The hunting ammo, you might as well shoot (though the accuracy will likely be crap, due to most commercial 6.5x52 not performing at all).

The top ammo may have had the original FMJ bullets pulled and replaced with soft nose, but maybe not. I wouldn't be firing that in my gun, but it's not my ammo. Years ago, I found a brass machine gun charger full of military ammo at Specialty Guns in Victoria. I don't have it right here, but IIRC it was 7.35 Carcano. I have a little short carbine in 7.35. Talk about muzzle blast! No wonder the Italians gave up!

Kjohn, yes i really understang the Italians....one time i see a guy at the shooting club trying a carcano and it was a big fail.
