I have a box of Dominion bullets that says 6.5MM .They are not 6.5 X 55
They are very similar to the 6.5 X 55 but the case is .44 in diameter 2.09 or .54 mm in length and overall length is 3.05..I cannot find any info on the 6.5 X 54 Manlicher.Could this be for that caliber.Graham

Good spelling, Ted! I had a rifle chambered for this fine old round about 45 years ago. Dominion [CIL] then loaded it with a 160 grain RN bullet at an advertised velocity of 2160 FPS. It penetrated like mad, and killed deer like lightning. Never did 'graph the factory loads, and didn't reload for it, but it was effective for such a small case. Regards, Eagleye.

I have two boxes. The OAL is 3.015", Rim diameter is 0.46". The box actually says 6.5mm Mann.-Schoen. SP 160gr. It also says on the box that "This caliber is also known as 6.5x53 M-Sch., 6.5x54 M.-Sch. and 6.7 M.-Sch."
