New rifle in the mail! Anyone reloading the Grendel for the cz 527(regular 24" barrel)? Please share loads with BLC-2 and H4895 or what powders/bullets you are using.

I've got some 123g sst on hand..what would be a good place to start on OAL?:redface:

It’s thing get reloading manuals and learn to load properly instead of asking on-line:)
 
Thank you for input 220. Its more than likely my inquiry on its face seems borish. That is my fault.

I already have some load information. Such as from Hogdon, barnes, ect...all "inquiries" made from the internet. I have been reloading for over 12 years and consider myself an "educated novice".

Possibly, i should have asked: What is everyone's expirience reloading the grendel for 527? Are there some clear prefferences their rifle likes with the 123g sst? What kind of jump are you using?

Please forgive me 220....Now may we move on ?
 
Thanks for the link Jim, a gentleman for sure. Have you harvested any game with the mini? I'm really hoping this one will be a light walk about rifle. Hopefully she will feel/handle "just right". Yes i'm seeing lots of mention for 8208xbr however its impossible to find locally.

Just got mine not long ago and did a trigger job and got that Good now - Mounted a Elite 3500 4-12 in Talley's on it and it comes in at 7 lbs Even !
I have a BUNCH of handloads to be shot Yet - i will advise after i do ! Kool little Cartridge . RJ
