6.5mm prc Tikka build questions

Evening,

Hope I can get some help with a build on a Tikka T3x platform. I am wanting to build a 6.5mm PRC and I'm not sure I am finding all the info I need. I have a 300wm T3x donor.

Is it going to be possible to run PRC out of a WSM (Short bolt pull and WSM mags?) or will I need to run the long magnum mag (300WM) and a full length bolt stop?

I am not personally familiar with the SAUM or the PRC yet but I see no reason why you couldn't run one out of your t3X as long as you run a decent DBM and WSM AICS mags. It will still work with the current LA bolt stop, although it is not "ideal"
I am doing something similar, but different. Currently running a long throated 6.5x55AI out of a long action tikka with LA AICS mags. The bullets have tons of room in the LA mag and always end up at the front of the mag, which would essentially be the same situation as the LA bolt stop with SA magazine/ DBM set up.

After re reading your post a couple times I might be slightly confused as to exactly what you're asking.....
