6.5x47 - 123/130 with less common powders - R16, 6.5 Staball, VV550- Whatcha using?

So spring project time - I want to try the above powders with different bullets and see what I can find!
Plan to try vv550 with 123/139 Scenars &130 hybrid
R16 with same
6.5 StaBall with same plus try the heavier 140/142 Sierra, Berger, ELD-x

Have any of you tried the above powders with any success? Care to share your experiences?

So far, Varget is my goto in this caliber, way outperforms H4350 in the sig 24" barrel. 37.2 with 130h is the best so far.

I ran N550 for a few years before going with H4350. No difference in accuracy for me but it was easier to source than V550.


I have excellent results with H4350, N550 and R17. This is with 130 Berger's and 139 scenars
