Just checking in to see if anyone else is using the 127gr lrx this year for hunting. I just finished load development and swapped scopes from my s3 6-24 to my zeiss conquest 3.5-10x44 for hunting and verified loads today. I'm zeroed for 200 yards (z600 reticle) and shot two 5 shot groups to verify everything. .56" and .68" respectively. The 127gr does seat deeper than the 130gr bergers I'm so fond of but since my rifle is throated for bergers and lrx like to jump, it it's just the way it is. Not complaining though.

Load data if anyone is curious.

127gr Barnes LRX
50 thou jump
37.2gr Varget
CCI450
2x fired Lapua brass
10 shot average is 2888fps @15C

Here is a picture showing the 130 bergers at 10 thou jump compared to the 127gr LRX at 50 thou jump.

Looks good. I have some 145gr LRX for my 7mm and 175gr LRX for my .30-06

I hope to take an animal or two with the LRX this year.
