just wondering if anyone here loads Jap brass at all and if you have any tips for me .using the H site that is stickied for load info but any info is great.

one question I can think of right off the bat is ; do you use large rifle primers for these or not?

The Hornady manuals have lots of data and yes it uses LR primers.Norma and Privi Partisan is the only brass I'm aware of .May be more? Harold

Yeah I was checking out that site. I guess the only question is ; Seeing as getting 6.5/50 ammo is rare to find unless i want to shell out 50$ plus shipping can i cut down 6.5x53 (which I think is swedish) or is it 6.5x55 or would that involve fireforming and whatnot?

no the 6.5x50 is a semi rimmed case and as far as i know it is unique to it's self. that said i seem to remember seeing somewhere someone was making it out of .270 brass....

epps has it , but when i called it was 45 or 55 for 100. I'm looking to get some from the states.
