Does anyone know where I could find 6.5x50 Jap Ammunition or brass?

I haven't found any yet, I know factory Norma is expensive but I don't mind buying a few boxes if I could find it, Any help would be appreciated.

Hornady supposedly loads it too. Prvi does as well. Never seen any though. Haven't been looking either though.
OWS(Old Western Scrounger) loads it. Listed as 6.5 Arisaka. 120 grain bullet. Epp's is their Canadian distributor. It won't be cheap. OWS wants $44.95US per 20.

George Nonte's "Cartridge Conversions" states to make 6.5X50mm Japanese, Japanese Arisaka from 30-06 brass: Swage body to .450" diam; leave rim full size; size full length; ream neck; trim to 1.965" lead; use .263" bullets

"...Arisaka from 30-06..." Despite what Nonte says, the .30-06 is too long. 494 thou longer.
The 6.5 Jap case length is 2.200". Rim diameter is .471" .308 would do though. Only 15 thou too long.

Did you even read what the poster who responded with the 30-06 to 6.5 Arisaka said? [ Trim to: 1.965" ] If you trim the case to the new length....it is obviously not too long anymore. Eagleye.

A lot of Captured jap rifles came back after the war and they were commonly rechambered since the ammo/brass was scarce or completely unavailable.

I have such a beast - 6.5x257 Roberts, neat Cartridge......nearly the same capacity as a 6.5x55 .
