Hey,

I added the Carcano ammo to my wishlist on the site, any news when you will be getting some more? I am looking for any bullet type, but FMJ would be nice.

The other ammo is 8mm Lebel Rifle ammo (ie: 8x50r lebel)

Do you know if you can order some in? I know its still made, Privi makes it too.

Thanks!

Seconded. I got an 1891/41 a few months ago and she's very hungry. I'd be willing to bet a dollar that the thing hasn't been shot while I've been alive, and I'm in my early 20's.

We need "inexpensive" ammo too.

Norma and Hornady loads are much too expensive for plinking.

Privi, S&B, whoever, as long as it goes bang, and doesn't corrode my bore in 2 shots like surplus.

Anyone has experience with PPU Carcano ammo?

I shoot PPU Carcano. No issues, its perfectly safe.

What people complain about is that its a undersized bullet (perfectly safe) but some Carcanos have worn bores, so the bullets tumble. (Similar to early M16 Rifles.)
People complain of accuracy issues, technically Norma is the only one making the correct sized bullet.

But for the price... PPU all the way.

Also, some carcanos have tighter bores such as mine, so they handle the PPU very well. Carcano action is quite strong, severely underrated.
