Well,I knew it was too good to be true.I found 40 rounds of Partisan?(circle with a line through it) brass in the bucket.11 rounds and the pin pulled out of the Lee stem. I punched it out and put in again.Too small a flash hole.I guess with a RCBS,I would have busted the pin on the first one .The Bosinian stuff isn't very reloadable.

If the problem is the flashhole is too small, a flashhole reamer might be able to ream it out to a larger standard size.
But to get the spent primer off the first time around, you can try this. I know that for the Lee universal decapper die you can buy replacement decapping pins (for $3), and I suspect these might be the same thing used in the Lee full length resizing dies as well. So just buy a spare decapping pin and sandpaper it down to a small enough diameter to fit in the too small flashhole.

Igman 6.5x55 brass has a small flash hole too. I drilled a hole in the end of a piece of 1/4" rod and inserted a 3/64" drill bit stem. I use this to pound out the primers, then drill them to 5/64"ish, the size of the decapping rod.

I guess it's not Partisan,a circle with a bar through it and a line around,what ever that is.The reloading of the 6.5x55 was not critical,I just wanted to shoot the rifle. But my mistakes and problems continued. I used the Lee decapping die.Worked fine ,as if it's not the first time I have had a pin break.Maybe the used die had been adjusted wrong.So I tried again. I stuck the pin again. When I bought the used dies I got an RCBS set as well. This time I really checked things out,the thread for the button was bent. I'm beginning to get the feeling I was never meant to reload 6.5x55. And I have two of them,one to stock,one to restock

The Winchester brass I used with a 303 P-14 lasted near twenty times.good stuff.

It was just wasting componets,brass bucket brass,questionable burning rate H-1000 and Rem Cor-loks. If it grouped and didn't pattern,with that junk,all to the good. The rifle is for my grandson,and I have 11 months to restock,trigger,and find a practice puff load and a moose load.I'm ordering real brass tomorrow and die stems
It's kinda boring when the first starting load goes one inch,and then it gets even better.

Try 140gr Hornady SP interlock bullets, My swede really likes them , it'll print under 1 1/2 inch group with rear peep, post front sight at 100 yards.
For your grandson try a reduced load of IMR SR-4759
This powder I am really impressed with for plinker loads and cast bullets.
Big game load try 4350, 4831 powder.
