6.5x55 hornady 160 grain

So is Hornady still making these rounds. Like to get into reloading and hear great thinks about this round. Looking for a bear/moose round. Also hear lapua has 155 grain mega but prefer to stick with Hornady. Any one know if this round is still available in Canada. Stores that sell it?

Hornady has discontinued their 160gr but should be lots on the shelf for a while. I use 42gr of IMR 4350 or N 204 and the above bullet.Killed many moose and deer .Never recovered a bullet...........Harold

There is still the Woodleigh option. Not cheap, but a very good bullet.
