Does the loaded clip sit like that when loading or do you have to hold it to prevent from falling into the mag?
I use the Mosin/SVT40 stripper clip and works too. There is play and if it moves forward a bit it can sink into the mag when loading. Therefore it need to be placed back and held onto when loading.

I've used the Mosin stripper clips and they can be made to work, but you have to watch that you don't shove the clip itself into the mag. Do that, and the mag has to come out and be sing'e-loaded. Kinda defeats the purpose......

The Swedish strippers work on quite a few different caliber rifles. Here is an importer in the states here who has them with a list of calibers. Pretty darned cheap from there. Do not know if they ship to Canada, but they are a big importer of fire arms here.
I don't know if any laws prevent these from being sold from here to you guys or not.

Swedish Mauser chargers can be bought on E-Bay for about $20 for a box of 40, but shipping can be expensive. Use USPS (Mail) instead of UPS or other shipping methods. Some E-Bay sellers charge a flat Post Office Rate that is even more expensive, so always ask if the Seller will ship USPS and a cost of shipping. There should be no problems with Customs or exporting them from the USA.

I bought some of these clips a couple of years ago and they work real well for my 1903 Springfield & my "P17 Enfield". My wife is currently visiting her sister in the US, I ordered 2 boxes of clips a month ago for $40.00 and she will bring them back for me. Yes it is legal.

They kinda sorta work , clip wobbles bad and ends up falling in the action half the time .. does not work near as well as it does on a P17 or swede mauser.
