6.5x55

Hi there,

I am looking for some 6.5X55 rounds for moose. So not to sure what a good/long distance hard hittin round would be. The only on the shelf ones I can find at Remingtons 140. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, and if you live in Ontario and can make me some and let me know a price that would awsome as well.

I just ordered 3 boxes of the same stuff from the local gun shop. $31.50 for a box of 20! I have some reloads for them but not enough time to make more before the weekend (EOHC Milshoot this weekend!!).

Lapua has 155gr loaded rounds in 6.5X55SE

call ALsimmons in hamilton . I think he has norma 6.5x55 in stock 150 or 160 grain.

Norma loads Ballistic tip in their 6.5x55 line and I believe the Oryx. For moose, the BT will dissapoint you. The other one is expensive.
S&B loads some soft points and so does Wolf.... Where in ON are you?

Id use 140 grain Hornady custom

140's will do if your rifle shoots that ammo well enough.
