Hi guys & gals, I need a little help. Does anyone know where I can buy some factory 6.8mm Remington SPC cartridges? They seem to be unavailable from the dealers I know about... any help is appreciated. Cheers

Good post!

I just called them...they said canada hasn't approved the ammo yet, takes them awhile to clear it for import. He says to check back in 3 or 4 months. He has brass though...so you can reload for it....which i might have to do by the time my new ASI 6.8 Spc mini comes...which is also going to be about 4 months before its ready.

Good to know.

Thanks, you saved me long-distance charges :p Huh, what's an ASI mini, I never heard of it but though I knew everything :D? I picked up a Remington 700P just for the 6.8'ness of it... looks like a neat cartridge. Thanks for the info, cheers.

6.8mm Ammo availability

From Epps:

We should be receiving some 6.8 Rem SPC next week. The ammo has most certainly been approved for use in Canada, as a matter of fact we have had several shipments of it over the past 6 months, although we have only received about 1 or 2 cases each time. Our current shipment should include several cases of full metal jacket, as well as soft-point rounds. Unfortunately, we do not have specifics on bullet weight.

Retail pricing should be approximately $16.00 per box of 20 rounds.

Give us a call if you're looking for rounds.

Great, thanks for all the responses fellows. How much did that case cost with shipping/tax? I hope it wasn't $16/20rnds.=$625 for a 500 rnd. case... oh well need one regardless. Cheers

I got mine in October....
Case is 10 boxes
box of 20 rnds and was 22.99 /box but since I took a case was 10% off

Hey, that's not too bad. I usually expect a buck per round for weirdo calibers, I'll be ordering some soon. I suppose the price will drop if they start selling some high quantities.

That's what I thought you were talking about. I bet you could hit the narrow side of a barn with it! :p;). Seriously though, they look pretty cool.
