I have now purchased a 6.8spc conversion kit for my OD green XCR-L in 223 have it loaded with 110gr Sierra Prohunters @ 2650fps and 95gr Barnes TTSX @ 2825fps.

I have been taking in out with me bear hunting wasn't successful on getting a bear but had some fun shooting at longer 331 - 350 - 400 yards with the 95gr TTSX loads.

Here is a pic of one area I was shooting you can see a light coloured log on the bank just up from the road appr 20' to the left of the log was my target the range was 347 yards.

I only fired 3 shots and I was shooting off the front of my quad, I was not holding for windage wanting to see how much the little bullets would drift for me there was low cloud just above me that I was able to watch blow by and figured there was an appr 5 - 7 mph right to left cross wind.

First shot hit low left just missing the rock next 2 shots did a bit better if I was actually shooting at a coyote/deer/bear I would have also held for windage I have a Leupold VX111 4.5-14X40mm Varmint reticle 30mm tube side focus scope set up on the rifle.

Here is a closer pic of the rock the first shot hit between the little rock beside my thumb and the larger rock.

I have to say that for this style of rifle I am starting to like it more and more and I am getting to be very happy with the accuracy I am getting from it.

Here is how I carry it on the quad.

Wicked info there CC! And that's some seriously nice shooting on the rock. You are plenty accurate for huntingand the performance of the recovered bullet speaks volumes. I havent used the X bullets in anything I own. But that is going to be changing very soon!

Thanks for taking the time to post this.
