Hello reloading Gurus. I often reload for 6.5 Creedmoor and this year got into 6 Dasher using Lapua brass Berger vld bullets and Varget powder. I’ve also been using the CCI 450 primers which work great in my 6.5cm but I seem to get a lot of weak primer strikes. I’m sure the primer is seated fully. I’m thinking thebissue is my firing pin spring not able to properly strike the thicker cups on the CCI 450s I recently tested with some old Winchester WSP and they worked really well. But mine are very very old and I still have a couple failure to fire primers. I was wondering if there is a primer that’s on par with the cci 450s that has a thinner cup? Any other suggestions you guys have I’m all esrs

May have two issues here.
1. Primer strike that does not fire, firing pin spring may be problem.
2. Primer strike with delayed ignition.
With powder charges greater than dasher requirements I would use brass with Large primers.
I've had the delayed ignition using the Small primer in the 6-47L, no issues with the LP.
