6 guns stolen in Fraser Valley

My first thought would be BC, remote barn/garage with visible alarm parts, probably thought they were ripping a grow. Didn't find a grow, but happened to get some guns.

I would think that if the bad guys were smart enough to stake out a gun store, they would also be smart enough to pay attention to what was being bought there, specifically hand gun rounds, maybe some mil-surp. The gangs aren't shooting each other with scoped 30-06's and 270's.

I wouldn't be surprised if criminals have started staking out the local gun stores waiting for people to come out, and then follow them home. There have been a lot of stories out here in B.C. About this sort of thing happening at garden stores, criminals looking for medical grow ops. It may be a good idea to start making sure the LGS isn't your final stop before heading home, and constantly checking your rear view...or maybe my tinfoil hat is a little too tight, but why take chances?

oh, I think your hat fits just fine! Better to keep a watchful eye open, never know what one might seen.

You make a good point.

I wouldn't rule out for a second that they though maybe it was a grow op, however where there is one gun there are typically more, and there was a good chance handguns could have been there as well.

This could make sense because my car has my company logos on it which makes it easy to spot - and when I was setting up the reloading stuff I made a number of trips direct from LGS to the garage

There was a recent home invasion / firearm robbery here in Abbotsford where a couple in their 70s were beaten and robbed.
If I remember correctly it was firearms in particular that were targeted and the scumbags got away..

My brother in Law and I have an alarmed garage in the fraser Valley in an inconspicuous area. last night someone broke in and left all our reloading equipment but stole all five rifles he had there. in case any one hears of the following rifles come for sale and something doesnt seem right please let me know!! will update with serial numbers and more info later!

Krico 650 super sniper - with 10X leauopold scope
Remington 700 BDL in 375 H&H mag with camo stock - serial # 06269543
Maverick 88 pump action shotgun - field barrel
Savage 64F .22LR
Russian SKS blonde laminate stock

they ripped the alarm speaker off the exterior walk , got in through the back - kicked in the locked door to get in, and exited through the garage door at the front.

they also stole 25 boxes of shotshells and a number of boxes of misc. rifle Ammo
as well as they left all my empty brass and reloading equipment but stole all the projectiles (Several hundred)

what a rip off, i am almost sure it must have been someone who knows we have that there!! and not just someone randomly breaking in. which is alarming because we were VERY tight lipped!

This is an awesome Idea! everyone that has guns stolen should do a post like this. In fact, it might be good for CGN to have a list of guns reported stolen so it can be looked through prior to a second hand purchase.

Great idea should talk to the mods and see if a part of this forum can be set up for such a thing. Being a victim of a b&e many years ago and having a rifle stolen I can simpathize with you. Good luck on finding your gear. Hope the dirtbags get caught and thrown in jail.
