I have been out of shooting for about 10 years and am getting back in.
I had a 'groundhog gun' made back then in 6mm Ackley Improved, Rem 700 action, 26.5 inch, 1:14 twist Rob McLellan barrel with a .266 neck in a HS precision stock.
My loads back then were 52.0 gr of IMR4831 under a 70 gr Nosler BT or Berger, which gave 3850 fps and 1/2" @ 200 yds on a good day.
I have all my reloading equipment and wondered if someone would be good enough to give me some advice on what improvements have been made in the last 10 years and what I should try as far as bullets and/or powder, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan
