Any of you guys want to get rid of a .620" bullet mould or point me at one. I know Mountain Moulds but they are moving or something for a few months here and out of order. I am trying to get a .600 on a .577NE shooting, bullets are holding me back. I think there might be some BP moulds near that diameter, any ideas? I might be left wtih turning some, but that would get old quick. How hard would it be to cut a decent but not fancy mould? Any ideas there, I have a lathe and milling machine. If I could get something to make them close, I could work them a bit for sure.
Thanks guys,.

The relatively large size is a problem. I have bored out Lee molds to larger diameter bullets but off the top of my head, .620 would be crowding the edges of the mold blocks.
I removed the sprue plate and drilled a hole opposite the handle pins so that I could drive them out and mount the blocks only in a 4 jaw chuck. The drill the center portion with a spade bit and use a boring bar to make the ridges/canilures. I finished up with a cherry for the canilure portion to make all ridges uniform because I seem to have challenges with my boring :>(.
Don't forget to use cleaning solvent as a cutting fluid on aluminum. You might be able to fit a .620 into a .58 minie mold.

Take a cheap Lee 50 cal single mold, drill it out to the size specified for a 5/8" NC tap (17/32"?) and then tap it. You get a spiral lube groove, but it will shoot fine.
