62gr American Eagle problem

i bought 500 rounds of AE 62. my AR barely gets the shots on paper. it is a 1/9 mystery barrel. with 55gr i can get 1.5MOA.

i tried this ammo in my 7615 and my Valmet. niether does any good with the dirty birdy stuff.

bad batch?
needs 1/7 twist?

1:9 should shoot it just fine. If you know your barrel is capable of better, and you can't get it to shoot in other rifles, it would seam to point to an inconsistancy with the ammunition.

My SL8-4 doesn't like those either (1 in 7 twist). They wander all over.

Is the AE 62 gr. loaded "hot" like a milspec NATO round or is it a civy blaster?
