.64 caliber round balls?

A friend just got a big bag of .633" diameter round balls in a box of loading stuff he was given.

What kind of rifle would shoot those? I did a google search but didn't come up with much.

greetings-believe they would fit 20 guage, just measured my trade gun and it's .62 not .63 as my notes show. rgds

They would be a decent fit for a 16 gauge smoothbore, which is typically around .660 - .662. Add about .015" per side for patch, and voila! They may also work for loading in 16 gauge hulls the old way, without plastic wad.
