673 350 Mag

it's a Remington Model Seven

6~600 Mowhawk 7~Seven 3~2003 release date

With a longer barrel (22"?) vs 18.5" on the old Mohawks. But it still keeps that snazy shark's fin front sight

I shot a Mohawk in 350 quite a bit years ago and liked it a lot. Can't help you on experience on the new 673s Rembo. Buy one. Let me try it :D

A buddy has a M700 Classic in .350 Rem. Mag and it's sweet! It needs a Limbsaver or Pachmeyer (recoil is vicious from the bench) but it's definately good to go for anything in the north out to as far as he's ever going to shoot with it...KF

The 350 mag is a good caliber, particularly for places with moose, elk and bear on the agenda. If you pick one up, keep in mind that it requires reloading to really come into it's own, as factory offerings (unless you go to a specialty house) are only offered in 200 gr. The 350 is MUCH more capable when fed 225 or 250 gr fodder.

I have one in a Remington 660 and the boys call it "The Little Cannon." Not sure if that name came from how fast the moose go down or if it has something to do with it's gentle shove from the bench.

I bought a 673 in .350. so far I love the gun. I am going to keep this gun for life ( or until the feds take it away) so I put some money into it, new trigger free floated and bedded.

I havent put a lot of rounds through it. But with the add on's it sure shoots nice.

I find the recoil no worse than my .300 win mag.

Do your self a favor and put an after market trigger in. Factory rem triggers suck....

I havent killed anything with it. But my uncle has used his for 25 + years. In his words " nothing ever needed a second bullet."

hope this helps...
