Hey, any one remember seeing a thread about forming 9.3x62 from .30-06?
Search function leaves something to be desired. As well, anyone have experience in this? Would .35 whelen work better? Any opinions?
Here's a recent thread that shows the process. .35 Whelen is just a simple neck-up through a fl die.

And that's what I thought. I had little knowledge on the .35 Whelen, but after some research, I figured that moving the least amount of brass was best. For the OD, I could use a .375 then .416 expander no? That may work in a series of progressing. I would obviously anneal the brass. I don't want to mess around with a total fire form from a simple neck up, I think doing it the long way, is the right way, is the best way.
Right on Ted, you bet I watched a good video on it, but wanted some additional advice......
