Has anyone adopted the 69 gr SCENAR as their pet load in a .224 calibre rifle
I'll be trying this bullet in 22-250Ackley 1:9
I'm expecting my velocities from 3670-3750 fps
.321 BC with these ...exactly what I preferred.

Also, i have a factory 223 > T3 SPORTER 1:8
Maybe it'll like these pills
Can't go wrong with SCENAR products

I haven't tried them, but for a 69gr pill I'd imagine you'd have to be running pretty damn hot to get them moving that fast, even being an AI cartridge. I'm just speculating though, as I have no experience with the .22-250 AI. If you get them going that quick safely, I'm sure its going to be awesome!

I would really like to see how a Berger 70gr VLD with .371 bc would compare, but to answer your question, no I haven't used them.

I have had great results with the 77g scenar in .223 (7twist) both in a f class rig, and an AR. Haven't tried them in the .220 Swift, but I am doubtfull that they would stabilize with the 1-14 twist.
I have also been very pleased with all the Lapua products I have used.

You'll do well with them Lapua Scenars I think!!

Two yrs ago, when I was looking for a plinker, and after talking to Mystic, I settled on an 8 twist 223, stainless Tikka Varmint. I wanted something that I could eventually try out at our new 400 M range and plus, my 14 yr old daughter started shooting as well.

I talked to peter Dobson ( @ hirsch ) and got a four boxes of 69 gr scenars to break in my rifle and work up a good 100 yd tack driver load. Man...between Mystic and Peter D...they certainly know their stuff!!
This gun absolutely loves them 69 ers!!!

Bug holes when I don't flinch. ;) I've put a few 5 shot groups down range @ 100 yds that I could cover up with a Tylenol Pill!
