6BR and AutoPrime

Well that's what I thought!!!! But I started using the number 2 and it worked like CRAP! They were catching and going in hard...little filings of the primer rim were being sheered off the primers were being slightly squashed in on one side etc...so I looked at the #10 which I am using now and it was either the #9 or #6...don't remember cause I just glanced...and these worked much, much smoother! In fact, I would put a case in the shell holder and flip it over to check alignment...and with the #2 it wasn't in there centered (guess that's why they were catching and squashing on the up stroke) but in the other two shell holders the primer pocket was sitting dead center! Not saying its right or wrong but the other two appear to work better in my case!

Your #2 shellholder must be screwed up somehow.
I load for two 6BR rifles, using Lapua brass exclusively, and have never had a problem with the #2's I have.
If this is fired brass, then they may have been subjected to very high pressures, which cause the head of the case to expand some.
This will cause issues with the shellholder accepting the fired case.
Regards, Eagleye.
