I have a 6mm with an 8 inch twist that shoots 108 gr fairly well. I picked up a box of 125 gr bullets and now I am not sure what to do with them. I think they might be too long to stabilize in my barrel, and if they will , any idea for a starting load. I thought I would look on my page for 108s and pick the slowest powder and cut back 10 or 20%. Any ideas?

1:8 will barely shoot 115's in a Dasher, would probably be ok in a faster cartridge.
What make are the 125's?
Just found your post on AO. Contact Dale at Chinchaga, he makes them, he would best know what twist they would shoot in but I am guessing 1:7.

The bullet manufacturers must be in cahoots with the barrel makers, every time a new bullet comes out we need another barrel! I've been contemplating replacing my 1:10 .243, maybe 1:6.5.
Dale {chinchaga bullets} says those will stabilize in a 1-8, and I cannot speak for any of the smaller cases, but my 6mm Remington with a 1-8" twist, they shoot just fine out to 300, as far as I have taken them. Eagleye.
