first I ever hear of this, 6mm 30-30 AI, looks a lot like the 25-35 only 6mm and the shoulders are significantly blown out.

so its a 30-30 case that is necked down to 6mm then the neck and shoulders blown out / moved forward, and the case is not shortened.

anyone have load data for such beast ? and / or cartridge specs ?

Load data is going to depend on what rifle/platform it is built on..............35K psi or 65K psi...........Measure your case capacity and I think you will find it falls between a 6mm BR and the 243..........

built on a Savage 99c action.

I was looking for something close in the reloading books lots of choice to go with.

looked close to the 6x47 for case size, also looked at the 25-35 data for some indication what range the load should be in.

very interesting little cartridge I know nothing about..... :(

Well, those were built in 308 weren't they? So you should be able to load the 6mm 30-30 to pretty good pressures, no?

PO Ackley lists it in his Handbook for Shooters and Reloaders.
Old school reloading (Hot).
He says
"Cases are made from 30-30 or 32 Special to 6mm which normally requires three
operations plus fire forming."
All loads are Max from his book
75 gr bullet 37gr 3031 3450
85 gr bullet 37gr 4895 3300
90 gr bullet 41gr 4320 3345
105gr bullet 38gr 4320 3015

Isn't that a 6mm tcu?
ETA: actually I was thinking 7mm International Rimmed, similar to 30 TC rimmmed.

Or you might have 6mm-225 rimmed, 6mm Donaldson wasp...ect.

Not my rifle, just helping out a friend.

It is marked 6mm 30-30 AI on the barrel.

cases are 30-30 cases that are necked down and the shoulder is fire formed, and moved significantly forward and the case taper blown out.

just to be safe we went light, 30grns 4064 with a 55grn bullet.

I was looking at different 30-30 wildcats for a 1905R Ross sporter I have with a shot out barrel. There are some very interesting little rounds.

I referenced the QuickLOAD database and was a little bit surprised to see this cartridge listed, so I ran a calculation.
This should at least get you to a starting point based on the specific data within the printout:

If the OP wants more calculations for powders and/or bullets, PM me with your email address and I'll be happy to send some pdf files...
