How hard is the ammo to find? i have never seen any but maybe thats because ive never looked , anybody know im looking for factory ammo to take deer and also varmints.

It's out there. If your local gun shop doesn't have it in stock they can order it. It's not that rare. Even Crappy Tire has it, most of the time.

My local C.T and Walmart don't carry it.

Wholesale Sports, S.I.R, and Russells do...

To get full potential from 6mm Rem try handloading.

"...don't carry it..." It's seems like CT and Walmart(if the local Wally World even carries ammo) get whatever the head office says they'll get. Some will have it, some won't.
Reloading is most definitely the way to go with any ammo though. No searching for ammo and you use ammo tailored to your rifle..
