Is anybody out there using this cartridge? If so what powders and bullets are you using. Im having some luck with both H4831sc and H1000. With berger 105 hybrids.

I have a TRG re-barrelled to 6SLR. I've tried H1000 under 115gr VLD's and RL17/H100V with the 105's.
Have a decent load worked up with H100V and 105gr Scenars. Somewhere around 3275fps from a 28.5" barrel. I think the gun has more potential than I've tapped into but I lost interest in it in favor of other projects. I'll have to re-visit this one when I have more time.

I am getting 3075fps with 43.5 grains of H4831 and 3000fps with 44 grains of H1000 with Berger 105 hybrids. My barrel is a 27 inch bartlain 7.5 twist 5R barrel I am interested in 100v as well
I have the same barrel, 1.5" longer.
You need to use magnum primers to get the speed up with the H1000 pretty sure I use 47gr of H1000 with a 105's and close to 3225 fps in a 26" barrel , I had one on a 28" barrel that was a bit faster.
When the weather was hot the speed was good with the H1000 but lost about 150 fps when it dipped to - 8 or so .

I shot H1000 and H4831SC together today and the H4831 was the winner but not by very much. Im sticking with the 4831 at 43.8 grains. Its working really well I hope the barrel lasts for at least 1200 rounds!
