6mm Vais?

Anyone know about it? 6.5x55 necked down and ackerlyized, supposed to be able to hit 3200fps with heavy bullets.
How's the forming process? Need neck turning? Any source for reamers/dies? Does it feed from a magazine?

This would be a ballistic twin to the 6mm Rem AI..........in fact almost the visual twin as well. The 6mm Ackley I had fed no problem at all and had none of the other issues or questions associated with necking down from 6.5. The only reason I could see using the Swede case instead of the 6mm Rem case would be if one had several hundred with nothing better to do with them. The 6mm Ackley will use either 6mm Rem or 257 Bob cases perfectly without any other process besides FL size load and fireform.
I'm not sure what you mean by heavy but my 6mm AI would easily hit 3400 fps from a 24" barrel with 95 gn BTs and Parts, so 3200 with 105s would be a no brainer, but 115s might be a hard push unless one had more barrel length.
