6x6 milsurp truck

So I was looking at the ones in the US, they are cheap! but all say "US citizens only"

anyone have any ideas why and how do i get around it?

The "why" would be a great big wet blanket of U.S. regulations against exporting military equipment, including obsolete surplus military equipment. There may be ways to get permits to export but for many, probably most businesses, discovering how to get those permits doesn't seem worth the time and trouble when they have enough demand for their products at home.

HMMMM, getting a canadian one will likely double the cost at least.
Have to keep looking, Armcos is nice, but i dont want a Caterpiller engine or and allison transmission.

The latest nickname for one of these is, "Bobbed Deuce". My personal opinion says don't change it. The conversations on this thread prove this point. Guys swap parts or engines, to improve the functionality, then sell it. The storyline gets lost and some future owner buys what he thinks is genuine. When there's a problem, he discovers something that isn't in any manual or on a parts list, and has to cobble together some half-fix. My 1970 M38A1 Jeep has most of its original parts, but there are nonstandard things that I keep finding.
