7-08 Brass

Shouldn't be a problem. Lube well (not too much on the shoulders) run a 308 through your die and voila 7-08. Be sure to measure case length after sizing.

Had the same problem last year, found some .308 once fired for dirt cheap and reformed it. IIRC there was little if any abnormal trimming needed. I've since found 100's of new brass at WSS, I won't be running out anytime soon.

Epp's and Shooter's Choice(in Waterloo, Ont) both list it. Likely Goble's here in London too. SC keeps it in stock and they ship. Add the W's. .shooterschoice.com/catalogue_front.htm

use 308. You problably won't be able to tell the difference in how it feels to size.

Besides trimming, you may need to look at the thickness of the resulting neck, as reforming cases down can tend to result in thicker necks. Odds are most chambers will not have a problem with a slightly fatter neck.

If there is a problem, there is a tool available to thin them.
