hi Guys,
I was told that it was safe to both the shooter and the gun, to shoot .32 S&W ammunition in my Husqvarna model 1887 ( Swedish Nagant revolover) As any of you guys tried this before??

If you have any information on this , please let me know.

According to Donnelly's book on cartridge conversions, 7.5 Swedish cases can be made from .25-20 or .32-20 by trimming, and then a hollow based bullet is loaded. It sounds as if the original bullet is a "heeled " design. If the .25 or .32-20 case can be used, a .32 S&W would be too small.

I do shoot .32 S&W blanks in it w/o any expension of the cases, but since blank as NO bullets the pressure goes out freely. They are a bit loose in the chambers but nothing major. I was wondering since I am NOT equipped to reload nor know anything about reloading, if the real ammos in .32 S&W are safe to shoot w/o damaging the gun, or receiving a spit of burnt powder in my face, as they can be easily found at gun shows for a relatively low cost.

Thanks!!
